After exactly 46 years on this planet (or maybe it is actually 46 years and 1 day since technically it's tomorrow already where I was born?)...anyway, I'm hoping that those 46 years (and 1 day) give me the wisdom, patience and most importantly perseverance to finish one more mitten for my boss/best friend for Christmas.
Fairly certain she'd appreciate two, since she has two hands to keep warm and it's freeeeezzzzinng cold here.
Toodles...L x ♥
P.S. The pattern is from issue 33 of Mollie Makes. I used Cascade 220 to make them, it's a delight to knit with and orange is her favorite colour and they are quite soft.  I've never made mittens before like this, so do you think they look ok????  The ribbing seems a bit wonky and I'm worried they look chunky, since I didn't use the suggest yarn (like I EVER do that :oS) I always get anxious about giving handmade gifts for Christmas....bit like last year...but honestly, what do you think????
P.P.S.  Thanks for stopping by! So much appreciate your visits to my little space....just in case I haven't told you before.  ☺

  1. I think she will love them, nice pattern.

  2. The mittens are beautiful. She will love them! Handmade gifts are the best. :-)

    Happy Birthday!

  3. If she does not love them she can send them to me ;0)
    They look lovely, red mmmmm.
I shall have to see if I still have that copy of Mollies Makes and have a go at them myself. I am always recycling things I mean to keep.
    Hugs x

  4. Louise they are just lovely - I am hoping to get something like these myself for Christmas, warm and toasty. A fab post Louise, thanks so much. Big hugs to you
