Happy New Year!
The new year has gotten off to a very quiet start here. I'm back at work now and wishing the holidays would never end, but enjoying the snow still outside my window while I work.

I stopped by Tabiboo yesterday and was inspired by her post to be courageous. I used to be very brave, very much my own person. I have found lately that I would rather shy away more and more from being 'me' and try too hard to blend in with the shadows, not be noticed.
I need to be courageous and with the New Year I plan to try very hard to have more courage and be brave.
I've had a very productive day today, for a Sunday. I tend to spend my Sunday's moping about too much with the dreaded thought of work on Monday. Of course only to realize I would waste the day! Before 10am today I had made beds, washed floors, dishes and clothes, made sausage rolls and started sewing a new dress. The dress is finished, but the light is terrible and although I love it, its not much more than a gunny sack. Comfortable and that's about it.
It seems blogger is not going to cooperate anymore today. I had plans to share with you a lost embroidery I found at the bottom of the washing basket and my new woolly project, but blogger thinks otherwise. Oh well.
It's dark here now and I'm trying to keep my productivity going till the end of the day. I'm off to rummage through my yarn stash.
I hope the New Year is treating you well so far.
Toodles...L x ♥
Hoping you are getting back to routine after holiday break, really looking forward to seeing your dress. Took the tree down yesterday and in the process spring cleaned all the ground floor of the cottage, moved furniture, got rid of slot of things. Yes a very satisfying day, I have space!!!
